Hobbies: I love traveling and finding exhilarating adventures everywhere. I like the feeling of being one with nature, and I find solace and peace of mind in visiting different places. I can’t remember since when this was a thing for me!

Special talents: I started doing theater when I was in grade school. I joined a community-based theater group and developed my acting skills there.

Favorite thing about where you’re from: I was born and raised in the bustling city of Manila, and I love the diverse culture and the constant change around me.

Dream place to live in: I’d want to live in Canada together with my family. It makes sense that a lot of Filipinos migrate there because of the opportunities and benefits of being a citizen. The healthcare and education system is good, and job opportunities are vast.

Wildest dream pet: I would like to have a sugar glider, because my daughter wants to have one. If gusto n’ya, gusto ko na rin! Kahit hindi talaga ako mahilig mag-alaga ng wild animals.

Favorite iconic movie line: I will never forget Angelica Panganiban’s line, “Ang pera ko hindi basta-basta nauubos. Pero ang pasensya ko konting-konti na lang”! My friend and I always joke around making parodies of it like, “Ang mga damit ko, hindi basta-basta nauubos! Pero ang kasya sa akin, konting-konti na lang”! Haha!

Celebrity look-alike: Sabi ng friends ko, I look like Coleen Garcia. Sa face, oo! Coleen Rodriguez nga raw, kasi Coleen sa face, Ruby Rodriguez sa body. Haha!

Local celebrity idol: I really idolize Alice Dixson, kasi at her age, she can still keep her figure and youthful glow. I can still remember napapanood ko pa siya sa “Ok Ka, Fairy Ko” and parang wala pa rin s’yang pinagbago since then!

If you were not modeling, what would your career be?

I would probably end up pursuing my career as a theater actress. It’s something I love and enjoy doing.

How did you realize you wanted to be a model?

It was back in 2015 when a friend of mine convinced me that I could model. I was very hesitant at first because of my age and weight. But I gathered enough confidence and self-esteem, and learned to love the craft and have fun doing it!

What positive impact do you want to make as a model?

I started modeling with little confidence and self-esteem. Now, I want to share with everyone that it really doesn’t matter if you’re fat or thin, tall or short, curvy or skinny. It’s how you love, respect and trust yourself. Whatever career or path you choose, as long as you have these three things, no one can bring you down. You’ll succeed, no matter what.

What was your reaction when you found out you won Boardwalk’s Model Search?

I was overwhelmed with happiness and excitement! I never thought I would win!

Boardwalk style is…

Comfortable yet trendy! You can always show it off on a day-to-day basis.

I would never leave the house without…

Taking my Boardwalk #OOTD post!
